British ministers have blocked the release of secret military papers about an Indian Ocean island where the US may be holding prisoners without charge. Diego Garcia is British territory but home to a US military base believed to house so called 'rendition prisoners'. Al Jazeera's Mark Seddon reports.

O Presidente Obama sabia que "The CIA was granted permission to use rendition in a presidential directive signed by President Bill Clinton in 1995, and the practice has grown sharply since the September 11 terrorist attacks"? E então vai nomear a senhora H. Clinton? Isso não se faz! E mantém o Gates? E põe lá o Jones? Que desilusão (para quem estava iludido...).
Resumindo. Não é só Guantánamo que é necessário fechar! Há muita outra sujeira a precisar de limpeza. Faça o que qualquer um pode fazer: informe-se! E por aqui se termina esta questão das prisões porque o fedor é insuportável.
